How to Play Anime Dice — Roll Loop, Plots and First Hour
Anime Dice explained: join the right game, learn the roll-reveal loop, place characters, upgrade dice for Luck, and use your first codes — the full first hour.
What kind of game Anime Dice is
Anime Dice is a roll-to-earn incremental simulator on Roblox by the group More & More Games, launched August 15, 2026 and updated almost daily since — it was last touched on October 2, 2026 and sits in Roblox’s Simulation / Incremental Simulator category. The loop in one sentence: you roll a die, the roll reveals an anime-style character, placed characters generate cash, and cash buys dice and upgrades that add Luck, which makes future rolls reach rarer results.
The game’s own description is the clearest summary: “MONEY GENERATES WHILE YOU ARE OFFLINE. Roll dice and reveal insane Anime characters! Upgrade your dice to gain even more luck! Build the strongest team possible! Collect rare Anime Characters and mutations!”
Before you roll: joining the right game
Search “Anime Dice” in Roblox and join the experience by More & More Games (it carries the platform’s verified badge) — the current title starts with ”[⚙️UPD 6]”. The game is free to play with an optional Robux shop; servers hold up to nine players, and each one plays on a personal plot, so you are never competing for space with the players around you.
The core loop: roll, reveal, place
- Roll the die. Rolling is the main action. Each roll consults the game’s rarity system — with base Luck you will mostly see common results, and the icon’s advertised ceiling is a 1 in 9,342,584 roll.
- Reveal the character. Successful rolls reveal anime-style characters — the official media shows, for example, a towering bone demon and a white-haired figure crackling with blue energy.
- Place characters on your plot. Placed characters generate cash over time. More and stronger placements mean more income per minute.
- Upgrade. Cash buys dice tiers and upgrade nodes; both add Luck (see the dice ladder guide).
The habit that separates fast starters from slow ones: fill every placement pad before you log off. Offline income depends on the units you left placed, and the official description promises money keeps generating while you are away — the offline earnings guide covers the details.
Your first hour, step by step
- Finish the tutorial. It is short, it unlocks the Shop, and the Shop holds the code box.
- Redeem the live codes. JPCALLING, UPDATE6, 400KLIKES and friends — grab them from the codes page the day you start. They hand you Lucky Spins, Trait Rerolls and Gems that would otherwise take sessions to earn.
- Roll and place. Get a character on every pad you own, even weak ones — placement count drives early income more than placement quality.
- Buy your first dice upgrade. The first ladder tiers are cheap relative to what they do for Luck.
- Check the Tower. The game includes a Tower mode (entry costs Tower Tickets, which UPD-era codes hand out). It is a change of pace from rolling — poke it once you have income flowing.
Team, traits and what “strongest team” means
Characters are not just income generators — the official description tells you to “build the strongest team possible.” Two layers sit on top of raw rarity: traits (rolled per character, boostable with Trait Rerolls, typically raising Health, Damage or Income) and mutations (the Silver-to-Rainbow labels documented by the community, covered in the mutations list). The characters guide explains how the layers stack.
When to rebirth
Once cash upgrades stop feeling impactful, the game offers Rebirth: reset your cash in exchange for a permanent multiplier. Placed units survive the reset, and the community has standardized a pre-reset checklist so you do not strand your income. It is covered in the rebirth guide — worth reading before your first reset, not after.
The short version: roll, place, upgrade dice, redeem codes daily — and let the offline income do the overnight grinding for you.
